The tragic death of Peaches Geldof:

Something didn't sit right with the death of this clever, smart, and beautiful socialite, no one dies at the age of 25 without some probable cause...and if they do how is this possible? How was it not stopped? And even more importantly who is to blame?

Having been to school with Geldof's youngest daughter Peaches' death felt very close to home making the reality of it even more sudden and shocking. The amount of public apologies this family has received also undermines any emotions they may be feeling as they are totally in the public eye. I can't say i'm not guilty of exposing myself over social media because I am, I am a very dedicated tweeter, facebook user and even instagram poster and therefore feel that to shun people who have chosen to tweet their apologies to the family for this great loss would be most hypocritical.

However in the age of technology you would think people would rather use the phone to send condolences rather than tweet them to the whole world would you not? Well apparently not, Peaches has received thousands of 'RIP' messages and 'We will miss you angel', which begs the question how well these people actually knew her and if its seen as support or irritation when they send these messages out. Peaches appeared on this mornings segment about attachment parenting where she went head to head with Katie Hopkins in a heated debate on how is best to bring up your children, Peaches appeared composed and loving, months later this tragedy, Holly Willouby expressed her condolences which was later deemed as appropriate as she was one of the few people that had actually the pleasure of meeting Peaches. Others tweeted, 'I never met her but RIP', its hard to understand how something that insincere can be made to look like support.

I find it difficult to understand also how people are automatically assuming this was the case of a drug overdose. Twitter has either been bombarded with loving messages or hurtful accusations which could destroy the family as such a delicate time. The family has a background of depression, divorce and also drug use however surely that is a private matter and although when you live your life in the public eye some things are just too close to home. Peaches dramatically turned her life around when she became pregnant with the first of her children Astala of whom is nearly two, she went from a party socialite to a doting mother and therefore proved any accusations that she was going to turn into her mother wrong. However what happened to lead the events of her life to this? Post mortem results will come in and will no doubt shock everyone and unfortunately that will be something else this poor family has to face. Peaches will forever be in my eyes pinnacle of youth, fashion and hope, and it is with my greatest prayers that social media doesn't tarnish her reputation as a wonderful mother despite its apparent need to destroy what is already broken.

Made In Chelsea

To tell the truth I am watching this now and I am enjoying it. It is the English version of the hills, the accents of these pretentious english people are over the top and so are the names. At least in The Hills the names are normal e.g Kristen or Holly however in chelsea we have Binky, Caggie and Fenda! I mean what of earth are people thinking. Not only do these people talk posh their fashion sense is Lady Gaga in London. Keep you updated from my hometown being the wonderfully plain....Clapham.

Poppadom Preach

Check this book out
Here is a quick summary:
In the year Twix and Smash were invented and Englebert Humperdinck was top of the charts, Amber was born into the chaotic Hussein family household in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. One of seven children, she grows up spirited and mischievous, not prepared to be the dutiful Muslim daughter her parents demand of her. Never out of trouble, she reads the Koran lying down, recites lewd Northern rhymes, rips up the neighbour's garden and keeps a goat for a pet. Her dad has a ferocious temper and a glad eye for the local floozies and her mum is a seething mass of resentments. When her brother's new wife - all shimmering salwaar kameez and hoity-toity manners - moves into Hussein HQ and gets Mrs Hussein's blessing to use Amber as a servant, the scene is set for a cat fight. Against a backdrop of casual 1970s racism, tough schools and a colourful working class neighbourhood, Amber mounts her one-girl campaign to be an individual. Throughout it all her little sister Egg is her best friend, but when she gets a boyfriend and their father finds out, all hell breaks loose and, once again, Amber is the one to get the blame.

We all knew gaga was crazy but...REALLY

Lady Gaga has celebrated the end of her world tour with a Royal wedding party, complete with English-style cucumber sandwiches and fancy dress.
The 25-year-old pop queen threw a monarchy-themed bash to celebrate the end of her Monster's Ball tour, which finally draws to a close in Mexico next month.
The do in Cleveland, Ohio, featured Royal mugs and Union Jack bunting as well as the sandwiches, London's Mirror newspaper reports.
Lady Gaga is also said to have dressed up as the late Queen Mother who died in 2002.
A source told the newspaper, "Gaga had the time of her life - on occasion she was even talking in a cockney accent."
Her dancers came dressed as Princes William and Harry as well as other Royals down the ages, including Henry VIII.
Revelers enjoyed cocktails in china tea cups, and the music was all English hits, including classic tracks by Wham! and Elton John.

The Royal's have wed!!

The royal's have wed. Months of anticipation are over we girlies have seen the dress and are sure very jelous of Kate in her stunning Sarah Burton frock. William looked fit for a prince while walking down the isle with his brother Harry (who did not lose the rings...thank god!).
Today was a day for very high fashion as everyone there was in extravagent gown's and hat's (although one lady could not see through her's).
It was respectful to say that The Archbishop of Cantabry did a splendid job at the ceremony and what an honor!
Pippa Middleton (Kate's father) almost looked better than the bride although perhaps a bit too much fake tan and in an ivory dress also...(could she be stealing kate's thunder) although kate is now Catherine as she is a fully fledged princess!!
Have a blessed day all,

ROYAL WEDDING

I think it is safe to say that the biggest event of the year is going to be the royal wedding. It is tomorrow and I must say well done to Kate as I am not sure that marrying into the royal family is something that I could do.
The pressure of being perfect and faultless is daunting for me so good luck to Kate!!
Of course what we girls want to know is what the dress is like. I love how the planners have managed to keep this such a secret! I think it will be a long tailed dress and a magnolia white colour. I think that would be beautiful.
I wish the best to the happy couple!

Skins

I don't know how many of you watched the new season of skins but I thought it was a let down. There was no link unlike the other series' when it was Effy (Kaya Scollerado) who was Tony's sister. I think we were all expecting Freddie's sister to be a link however skins let us down.
We saw Dakota Blue Richard's who appeared in 'The Secret of Moonachre' and most memorable along side Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman in 'The Golden Compass'. I think that she really came out of her comfort zone but I still thought she was a wooden actress who didn't fit into the rather weird and insane character of Frankie.
I thought that Freya Mavor and Layla Lewis potrayed great 'mean girls' and Jessica who is Gracie I found very childish in her acting. She had a young girl's voice and I don't think she was great at the acting.
The boys were spot on! They had charisma and a variety of personalities!!
